OBJECTIVE I
Creation and popularization of new Bulgarian songs and arrangements based on folklore for children and adolescents with the aim of enriching song creativity, creating interest and love for Bulgarian folklore and improving performance skills.
RULE M ENT
I. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:
- AGE GROUPS
Both individual performers and vocal groups are divided into four age groups:
- first age group – up to 7 years old;
- second age group – up to 10 years of age;
- third age group – up to 14 years of age ;
- fourth age group – up to 18 years of age .
- CATEGORIES
- individual contractors
- vocal duets and trios
- vocal formations (groups)
- DIRECTIONS
- funny folk song “Golden Spring”
- “Dimitrovgrad discovery” – performance of a Bulgarian pop/pop song
- a new contemporary arrangement and treatment of a Bulgarian folk song
- a new author’s funny folk song
- CONDITIONS
II. JURY OF THE COMPETITION
CRITERIA
- musicality
- accuracy in intonation
- sound retrieval technique
- stage behavior and costumes
- high artistic performance skills;
- o evaluation – will be done according to the ten-point system and each participant/group can have a maximum number of points – 10
III. REWARDS
- GRAND PRIX for a fun song based on folklore “Golden Spring”

- GRAND PRIX for contractor in the “Dimitrovgrad discovery” direction

- Award for a new contemporary arrangement and treatment of a Bulgarian folk song

- Award for the most attractive performer
- Award for the youngest / smallest performer
- THE MAYOR’S CUP for rating the overall performance of a school, organization or school.
The awards will be presented at the Laureates’ Gala Concert, which will be held after the end of the competition.
IV. FINANCIAL COSTS
1. Transportation and accommodation costs are at the expense of the participants.
2 . The organizers provide the prize fund for the competition.
